Ayurvedic Acupenture

Ayurvedic acupuncture blends the ancient Indian healing system of Ayurveda with the traditional Chinese practice of acupuncture. Like conventional acupuncture, Ayurvedic acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the flow of energy, or prana, along the body's meridians or energy channels. However, Ayurvedic acupuncture incorporates Ayurvedic principles, such as the concept of doshas (vata, pitta, and kapha), to diagnose imbalances and tailor treatment plans accordingly. Practitioners may use a combination of pulse diagnosis, tongue examination, and assessment of symptoms to determine the appropriate acupuncture points and techniques for each individual. Ayurvedic acupuncture is believed to promote healing by restoring harmony and balance within the body, mind, and spirit. It is commonly used to address a wide range of health issues, including pain, stress, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, and emotional disturbances.
